How it works
The 3 emoji drawing challenge is simple: get three emoji and draw one character that uses them all. Press Deal 3 emoji for a creature, a thing and a spark from the sky or the weather. The lists are below.

One job for each emoji
Take the shape from the first emoji, a prop or a pattern from the second and the colours or the mood from the third. Fox, candle and crescent moon could be a fox with a flame at the tip of its tail, drawn in night blues. You do not have to copy any of the three pictures.
After the first press
Each emoji comes with its name, and the page has a timer and prints 30 challenges. This 3 emoji drawing challenge generator never deals the same emoji twice in one go, because the three lists do not share any.
- Draw three tiny versions first. Make a different emoji the biggest part each time and keep the best.
- Stuck on the spark? Use it only as the colours: a snowflake means blues and white.
- With a friend, deal once and both draw. The same three emoji never make the same character.
Questions and answers
How does an emoji challenge drawing work?
Someone gives you emoji, usually three, and you turn them into one drawing. Here the page picks them: one creature or character, one object, plant or food, and one from the sky, the weather or the elements.
Which emoji are in it?
One hundred and eighty, sixty in each list, all from Unicode's standard set and old enough to show on most phones. There are no people, hands or flags and nothing unsuitable for a classroom.
What if an emoji shows as an empty box?
Read its name, which is printed beside it. The names are Unicode's own, so fox, candle and crescent moon say the same thing on every device and on a printed sheet.
Can a class use it?
Yes. Press Print 30 challenges for a sheet and cut it into strips, one for each child. Every strip names its three emoji in words, so it works without a screen.
