How it works

A sticker is one small picture that has to read from across a desk. Every one of these 100 sticker ideas to draw is built for that: a thick outline, flat colour, and a shape that cuts out in one piece.

Read the full guide

Make it one shape

Loose parts fall off when you cut, so join them. The ghost holds its balloon by a string, the hedgehog overlaps its apple, the possum sits on a flat bottom edge. Then leave an even white border outside the outline, about the width of the pen, and cut along that.

Draw a whole sheet at once

Sticker sheets holds 14 sets of six that share one size and one palette: weather icons in one line weight, bandages in six patterns, empty speech bubbles. Draw the six base shapes first and the details after, so the set matches.

  • Draw on plain label paper, or on ordinary paper backed with double-sided tape before you cut.
  • Three or four marker colours per sticker is plenty. A white gel pen adds the shine mark last.

Questions and answers

What are some cute sticker ideas to draw?

Cute holds 18: a toad wearing a toadstool as a beret, a bunny peeking out of a teacup, a penguin wearing earmuffs. Keep the eyes low and wide apart and the body to one or two flat colours.

What size should I draw a sticker?

Small enough to cover with two fingers is a good test. Draw it larger if your pens are thick, then shrink it on a copier. Details finer than the pen's own line will not survive either way.

Which ones are quickest?

Press once, then choose Easy in the list under the button for 47 that are a few shapes each: a lemon slice, a planet with a tilted ring, a speech bubble that says nope, a rubber duck with a shine mark.
