How it works
An elephant, an eclair, an envelope, an explorer: things to draw that start with E, in five groups. Each hint names the few shapes that make it, so a young artist can begin at once.

Hang three drawings on a capital E
A capital E is one tall line and three short arms. Draw it large, then set a drawing on each arm: Eel peeking out of a hole in the reef on top, Egg wobbling in a spotted eggcup in the middle, Earmuffs keeping a snowman warm at the bottom.
E-words by sound, for a letter lesson
Egg, elephant and elf start with the short E sound. Eagle, eel, easel and emu start with the long one. Others begin with the letter but with neither sound, such as Eyeglasses, Eye doctor, Earth from space and Ermine, so say a word aloud before it goes in a phonics lesson.
- A dropdown under the button keeps the deal to animals, food, things, places or people.
