Animation and Comic Ideas Small Enough to Finish
The usual way an animation or a comic stalls is an idea that was too big. The four format lists only hold premises small enough to finish, and every one states its size before you start.

More about these tools
Flipbook ideas are counted in pages of a sticky-note pad, comic ideas in panels, animation and stop-motion ideas in seconds. Three of the lists are sorted by that size. The stop-motion list is sorted by what is on your table, clay, toy bricks, paper or food, because the material decides what can move. What works in one format often fails in another, so those four lists share very little: a growing plant is a fine flipbook and a dull comic strip. Four more lists serve a comic of your own: cover layouts with room for the title, a cast sorted by role, webcomic premises sorted by format, and eight-page zines folded from one sheet.
