Fruit that fits a stone

A round brown stone is nearly a coconut already. The rest is Coconut on a round brown stone, three dark dots at one end. The pineapple comes three ways, and one is a pair of stones in Two-stone pineapple: a gold oval under a spiky crown stone.

Birds in their real colors

Each named bird, fruit and flower is painted as its Wikipedia article describes it. A stone with one long end carries the big bill of Toco toucan on a stone with one long end as its bill. A round pebble is the throat pouch in Frigatebird with its red pouch puffed over a round pebble.

Questions and answers

What are easy tropical rocks to paint?

Start with flat color and a few lines. Four blended bands make Sunset bands painted right around a pebble, no silhouette. One yellow ring makes Pineapple ring on a flat round stone, the core left bare.

How do you paint a palm tree on a rock?

Let the stone be the trunk. A long curved one leans by itself in Curved long stone as a leaning palm, fronds at the high end. For a silhouette, blend the sky first and add the palm in black on top.

How do you paint a hibiscus on a rock?

The red garden hibiscus has five petals. Paint them from the center of a round stone, each darker at its base, as in Hibiscus filling a round stone, five petals out to the rim.
