How this list was compiled: Original list written for Draw This Next, October 2026. Made up for this list; no real business or address is named. That the look is set in empty, familiar places such as playgrounds, classrooms and malls was checked on 2026-10-01 against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weirdcore, and that such places are ones of passage or temporary use, shown without people, against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liminal_space_(aesthetic). The notes are our own drawing advice. Licence: own work

    How it works

Each result builds one weirdcore character from five lists: a head that is not a face, a body, the look of the picture surface, a short caption and an empty, familiar place. It is strange by emptiness, never by harm.

    Five parts you can lock

Head, body, surface, caption and place change separately. Keep a wall clock with no hands, press until the place is an empty tiled pool room, and choose the caption last. It works best when it does not explain the picture.

    What weirdcore means here

Weirdcore is an internet look built on empty familiar places, low-quality photographs and short out-of-place text, often with a screen, an eye or a blank shape where a face would be. The lists under the tool say how to draw each effect.

    • Draw the room in careful perspective and the figure flat. The mismatch does the work.
    • Letter the caption in plain capitals and let it float level, with no speech balloon.
    • Lock the surface and deal three characters to make a set that matches.

    Questions and answers

    What is a weirdcore OC?

An original character in the weirdcore look. On this page: a figure with a screen, an eye or an everyday object where the face would be, standing in an empty familiar place such as a classroom or a mall, under a short floating caption.

What does the weirdcore OC generator give me?

Five parts to draw: a head, a body, a picture surface such as photocopy grain or big square pixels, a caption of six words or fewer, and a place. It is text only. Every list was written for this page.

    Is it scary?

Weirdcore is meant to feel a little uneasy. This page keeps it gentle: the pictures are strange because a place is empty or a scale is wrong. Nothing on the lists is an injury or a threat, and no caption is unkind to the reader.

How do I draw the low-quality photo look?

Pick one flaw and apply it to the whole picture: soften every edge the same amount, speckle the dark areas, or shift one color layer a little to the side. The surface list gives a note like this for every look.
